Holden: So. This is our blog, right?

Nathan: I guess? Never had a blog before…

Holden: What are we going to talk about?

Nathan: Well if since it’s our blog, shouldn’t we just talk about whatever’s on our minds?

Holden: Like politics? And girls! And sports and music.

Nathan: And girls!

Holden: And social movements, and technological innovations. All that riffraff.

Nathan: Just what the world needs, more opinions.

Holden: But ours are special and unique.

Nathan: Yeah! There aren’t many white people, college students, or Jews with opinions. Wait…

Holden: But ours are well-written and witty.

Nathan: Oy.

And so “Oy.” was born. A place for candid conversations about topics that matter with people who take everything seriously, except for themselves. Enjoy.

Holden and Nathan are both students at the University of Washington, both write for The Daily and both observe --in their own ways-- the shabbas.
